You hop into the car as usual and press the ignition. Your car doesn’t start. It seems something is wrong. Your car battery may have died. Your car battery is the heart of your car’s electronic system if there is any fault. It can be some kind of a severe problem.

  •  Consider factors such as cold cranking amps (CCA) for cold weather climates and reserve capacity for added reliability.

 

2. Avoid short trips.

 

  • Short trips prevent the car battery from fully charging. You can save your car battery life by taking long drives from time to time.

 

3. Don’t let your car sit for so long.

    

  • This is the worst thing that we can do for our vehicle’s batteries. When you stop your car from driving

And letting it inactive for so long (Maybe 2 weeks or more) will result in a Dead or weak battery. This will happen even if your car’s battery is new.

 

4. Keep the terminals clean and tight.

 

  •    Corrosion is the main enemy. Using regularly clean battery terminals with Baking soda and water can keep your battery terminals from corrosion. And always remember the Clamps are tighten very well because a loose battery can vibrate and damage internal parts. 

 

5. Keep your vehicle in a safe place in extreme weather conditions.

 

  •      As I mentioned before, your battery will be damaged in extreme weather conditions. So always try to park your vehicle at a shelter. This can prevent any damage happen due to any kind of weather conditions.   

 

6. Keep good power habits

 

  • Always remember to turn off all the lights before you leave your vehicle. And don’t use Air Conditions without starting the car 

  •  Don’t use power-hungry devices too much in a car such as chargers or consoles. Always Remember your car battery is mainly for help to start your car and send power to keep your car in a good state.
